THREE motorists awoke to find their vehicles had been stolen while they slept.

In one incident thieves hooked car keys from the letter box.

The first theft happened in York Avenue, Fartown at around 1.30am on May 9.

The keys were obtained to an Audi A6 and the suspect drove off in the vehicle.

A further incident happened in

Couford Grove, Bradley at around 10.00pm on May 10.

Thieves entered the property by snapping a Europrofile lock on a UPVC door.

They then stole car keys and a Honda Jazz.

The latest incident happened just 30 minutes later when entry was made to a house via a rear conservatory door. Again they used keys to steal a Ford Galaxy.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the incidents.
