CHILDREN from Meltham helped Santa and his elves turn on the town’s Christmas lights on December 7.
The children designed a poster about what Christmas meant to them for a competition judged by Meltham Vicar, the Rev Maureen Read.
Winners, Amber Dawson Spragg (pictured in a pink coat) and Elliot Hancock (pictured in a blue jacket) won the chance to push the switch with Santa, outside Meltham Parish Church.
