Then why not enter the Co-operative Youth Music and Drama Festival?
The 66th CYMD Festival is due to take place at the Emmanuel Methodist Church, Huddersfield Road, Barnsley, from Monday April 23 to Friday April 27 2012, with a grand finale concert featuring all the class winners on the Friday evening at 6pm.
The age range for certain classes in this year’s festival has been increased to 20 years and entrants are being encouraged to include different music genres to participate in the International classes.
The festival is always an extremely popular event showcasing the talents of hundreds of young drama and music enthusiasts in an array of classes for individuals, duos, ensembles and larger groups of bands and choirs.
