THE Ancion Court Residents’ Group will be hosting a Coffee Morning at the development off Clough Lea, in Marsden, next weekend.
Ancion Court is a new Connect Housing Association complex in the village. The energy efficient apartments are for people over 55 and include small allotment plots.
There is an open invitation to attend the event next Saturday (October 22), from 10am to noon. Coffee and cake will be served and there will be a tombola and plant stalls.
This is an opportunity to tour the homes and learn about the ground source heat pumps which have been incorporated into the scheme to help keep residents’ bills low.
The proceeds are in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
