MILNSBRIDGE: Aug 15. Thieves broke into a scrapyard on George Street. Police were called after a member of the public heard noises in the yard. Two suspects were found hiding in the yard and arrested.
Aug 19. Burglar broke into house through ground floor window and stole laptop computer, keys and passports.
GOLCAR: Aug 14. Vandal hammered nail into side of car tyre.
Aug 15. Bicycle stolen from garden.
Aug 18. Thief cut security chain and stole red Honda Shadow motorbike, number plate T663 GOH.

CROSLAND MOOR: Aug 14. Large stone thrown through rear window of parked car.
Aug 17. Patio door window smashed. Burglar then stole two laptop computers from house.
Aug 18. Intruder broke into Crosland Moor Working Men’s Club by breaking window.
Aug 20. Suspect arrested after brick thrown through window.
Aug 20. Thieves dismantled and stole chiller left outside Stop and Shop on Nabcroft Rise. Two men arrested.
BEAUMONT PARK: Aug 18. Doormat stolen from outside house.
MARSDEN: Aug 14. Laptop computer and jewellery stolen from house.
LINTHWAITE: Aug 14. Intruders entered Linthwaite CE Junior and Infants School before smashing gnomes and throwing yellow paint over the gates and drives.
Aug 17. Vandals damaged sheds, a trampoline and plants at Linthwaite CE Junior and Infants School.
SLAITHWAITE: Aug 18. Would-be thief climbed over gate into Viaduct Works on Clay Lane. Vehicles searched but nothing taken.
Aug 19. Handbag and sat-nav stolen from Land Rover.
