MILNSBRIDGE: Nov 4. Burglars forced lock at house but were disturbed and ran off. Both men were black. One was 5ft 4in tall, of medium build and wearing a black hoodie and black trousers. His accomplice was 5ft 8in tall, of medium build and also wearing a black hoodie.November 5: Raiders forced an iron gate at the side of Scar Lane Testing Centre in Scar Lane. They then tried to force a wooden door into an office but failed to break it open.

CROSLAND MOOR: Oct 29. Burglars smashed glass in a rear conservatory door and entered the house. They escaped with electrical items. November 9: A man was robbed of his mobile phone at knifepoint. Police are hunting a 6ft tall white youth, aged 18 or 19, with a spotty complexion. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a navy hooded top which was pulled down over his face. Nov 9. Burglars forced the centre panel from a rear UPVC door and gained entry. Asian jewellery and cash was stolen. Nov 10. A dog scared off would-be burglars who smashed glass in a rear patio door. Nov 9: Raiders smashed a window to break into Crosland Moor Community Centre in Park Road West. Nothing was stolen. November 8: Burglars used a plastic garden chair to reach up and force a kitchen window. They got into the house and stole mobile phones and a necklace.

GOLCAR: Nov 6. Burglars forced a shed door at a house in Golcar and stole a power washer.November 12: A padlock was removed from an outbuilding in Golcar and two bikes were stolen. Nov 13: A thief sneaked into a house in Golcar but was disturbed by the householder and fled.

LINTHWAITE: Nov 7. Thieves stole batteries from temporary traffic lights.November 13: A half brick was thrown at a house window in Linthwaite.
