Conservatory door forced open, but nothing stolen. A house raided on Banks Road, Golcar. Thieves broke off the upvc door lock and stole jewellery. House broken into on Church Street, Longwood. Beading stripped from window and glass removed, but nothing stolen. Lock on upvc door removed from house on Taylor Street and wedding ring stolen from inside. Two houses on Arthur Street, Golcar, attacked. Thieves forced locks off upvc doors to get in. Cash and a watch stolen. House on Moorcroft Avenue, Golcar, attacked in the same way – jewellery stolen – as was a house on Intake, Golcar, but alarm activated and prevented anything being stolen. Please remain vigilant in your areas. A window was smashed in a house on Hill Top Fold, Slaithwaite. Nothing was stolen. A house was burgled on Royd Street, Slaithwaite on February 26. Thieves entered through an insecure door and a notepad and satnav was stolen. A male was disturbed trying to burgle a house on Meal Hill Lane by the occupant, on February 27. Check all doors and windows are secure and do not leave keys and valuables in view.
Motorbike stolen from property on Longwood Road, Golcar, on February 28. It is a yellow Honda CBR 600, K75NMW. Vehicle had both number plates stolen on Grove Street, Golcar. The number is YG04FGJ. A Fiat Punto W764OFT was stolen from Town End Golcar. Car had its wheels stolen on The Four Horseshoes yard, Milnsbridge overnight. Gold coloured Rover X821XBB stolen from Kinder Avenue, Cowlersley. Thieves stole red Mercedes S147SWC by unknown means from address on New Street, Milnsbridge. Black Suzuki car SU06EXX stolen from Quarmby Road.
