Intruder climbed up onto a low roof then jemmied open window to get into pub. Bandit and cigarette machines forced open and contents stolen.Cowlersley, March 17. Pane of glass in rear door smashed and raider then reached in and used key in lock to open door, enter and search inside stealing property. Pole Moor, March 19. Farm building approached and metal security barrier removed. Intruder got into building, and stole half a tonne of electric motors with high copper content.

Brick thrown smashing church window and showering occupants with glass. Marsden, March 17. Occupants heard noise and saw three males in dark clothing and dark hoods. They had used scaffolding at the side of the property to climb to an elevated rear yard. They ran off in direction of Royd Street. During the incident the satellite dish bracket was damaged.
