These different stories lead people to discuss the various options. Intercession prayers were presented by David Verlander and were followed with the sharing of The Peace. During Communion, Martyn was assisted by David as server. Marriage banns were read out for Matthew Richard Walker and Nicola Jayne Mellor and Martin David Wilson and Francesca Marie Germain – both for the second time of asking. Before closing with the Blessing, Martyn introduced a new member of the church family, Kingsley, who spoke about how, following a period of time when he had been out of touch with God, he had recently found God again and how he had now joined the St Mark’s church family.
