LINTHWAITE

Worship at Linthwaite Methodist Church was led by Rev Jo Archer-Siddall who left the congregation with much to think about. Using the text from the lesser known reading from 2 Kings 4 v 38-41 ‘Poison in the Pot,’ Rev Jo’s text was entitled ‘The ups and downs of life – getting things in balance’ in which she reminded the congregation that it was not about what we took out but what was put into our lives. The young people continued their learning of the word of God through Friends and Heroes. Next Sunday Worship at Linthwaite Methodist commences at 9.30am, led by the Worship Group and will concentrate on the word of the Lord in Song.
