LEPTON: April 30. A window was prised open and intruder climbed inside a garage but nothing was taken. On the same day a glass pane was removed from a garage door. A thief snapped a Europrofile lock on the back patio doors of a home. A mobile phone and a Seat Leon were stolen. The car was later recovered and a Leeds man was arrested.

May 1: Europrofile lock was snapped on a house door and on the same day wooden gates were stolen from the entrance to a residential complex.

May 3. Burglars cut through padlocks to get in to a garage and shed. The stole a small amount of scrap metal. On the same day shed doors were forced open. Padlocks were prised from wooden shed doors, but it is believed nothing was stolen.

WATERLOO: April 30. A Europrofile lock was snapped on the side door to a house, both car and house keys were stolen.

May 1. Tax discs were stolen from buses. On the same day burglars attempted to gain entry to a house by snapping the Europrofile lock on the back door.

May 7.The glass panel in the main front door was smashed and jewellery and a safe were stolen from Mops Hairdressers, on Wakefield Road.

A bicycle was stolen from outside McDonalds on Wakefield Road, Waterloo.

TANDEM INDUSTRIAL ESTATE: May 2. Suspects on push bikes robbed a victim of his mobile phone.

ALMONDBURY: May 3. 12 Yorkshire stone flags were stolen from Victoria Tower, Lumb Lane.

May 4. Thieves stole a clothes dryer and clothing from a back garden. They loaded property onto vehicle and made off.

On the same day several tiles were removed from the pavilion roof of Almondbury Cricket Club.

May 5. A half empty beer can was thrown at a back fan light window.

DALTON: April 26. A window was smashed in a detached garage.

May 1. Hinges of a garden shed were damaged after being forced open. The suspect was seen by a witness and made off on a bike, no property was stolen.

May 2. A car was stolen from within a garage after burglar removed a window pane from the back of a detached garage.

Paint stripper was poured on paintwork which was damaged.

May 4. A vehicle was stolen from the street and later found totally burnt out.

May 7. Property was stolen after thieves got in through an unlocked french door.

A burglar sneaked through unlocked back door and stole property.

May 8. A bogus council worker asked for a glass of water. When the victim went in to the kitchen , the suspect had left having stolen her purse.

RAWTHORPE: May 8. Burglars entered a communal area of flats and stole a bike.

MOLDGREEN: May 8. A burglar snapped the lock on a back door but was disturbed by a member of public walking past and made off on foot through the bushes at the back.
