Neighbourhood Police UpdateRemember 20% of all burglaries are carried out due to insecure doors or windows so please make sure you lock all your windows and doors and not just when you leave your home. The Valleys NPT will be working hard over the next few weeks to try and prevent further burglaries. Please help us by checking your property and making sure all doors and windows are locked and secured. It is important that doors are kept secure, even while inside as it only takes a few seconds for thieves to strike. Please make every effort to keep keys and valuables out of sight. If your keys are left lying around there is every chance that your car WILL be taken.Door Jammers are available to purchase for a very small cost and could make all the difference in keeping unwanted guests out of your home! Please contact your local NPT for more information.
