AGGRAVATED BURGLARY Flockton, Dec 4. Suspects got inside prefabricated garage, but were disturbed by owner and family, who attempted to keep hold of one of the suspects who tried to assault them. Two men arrested.

Raiders removed cat flap from garage door and climbed through the hole and into house from garage through unlocked internal door. Raider used large stone from garden to smash glass panel in upvc kitchen patio door and climbed through into the house. TV stolen. Moldgreen, Dec 9. Front door forced open to get into house. Search made but nothing stolen. Waterloo, Dec 1. Half brick used to smash small living room window to get into house and steal computer laptop and TV. Waterloo, Dec 6. Sneak thief got in through unlocked side door and steal TV from living room. Waterloo, Dec 6. Large stone used to smash ground floor window. Raider cleared out glass and climbed in activating alarm. Emley, Dec 2. Garden furniture and horse rugs stolen. Moldgreen, Dec 6. Metal garden furniture stolen. Thief also tried to steal patio heater but dropped and damaged it. Denby Dale, Dec 4. Bike stolen from back of house.

THEFTEmley Moor, Dec 3. Raider cut down overhead electric cabling and stole it. Emley, Dec 3. Cut down and stole live power lines. Grange Moor, Dec 6. Suspects, believed to be three males, use ladder to get to overhead copper-filled power cables. Heavy duty bolt croppers or similar used to cut through and steal the power cables. Kirkburton, Dec 6. Lengths of copper power cable at former colliery site pulled down and stolen. Morrisons, Waterloo, Dec 8. Suspect distracted victim by asking advice on dog food. Suspect then reached in bag and stole purse. Suspect: white male, well built, balding, moustache, wearing light coloured checked shirt and jumper, had slight accent.
