A DANCER who has shared film sets with Madonna and Will Smith thrilled 30 pupils with a two-hour workshop in Crow Lane, Milnsbridge, on Saturday.

Turbo, the celebrity street dancer, who won fame on Sky’s Got To Dance in 2011, is now acclaimed as one of the most talented and charismatic movers in the country.

He appeared at a special session at Bodyrockerz and soon had the youngsters, aged from nine to 16 years old, going through their paces.

Principal, Amanda Johnson, 37, said: “It was excellent, the kids had a fabulous time. We invited pupils from around the district including primary schools in Upperthong and Outlane.

“And for one of our pupils, Jordan Sherwood, who is especially talented, her mum Kara made her day by saving up and paying for her to have an extra hour one-to-one session with him.”

Pupils from Bodyrockerz, which has been going for six years, compete in street dance competitions across the country.

Turbo, whose real name is Issac Baptiste, lives in London and was drawn to the dance floor from an early age, encouraged by his African dancer mum and reggae drummer dad.
