FIVE pupils from a Huddersfield dance school have been selected for the All England dance finals in London.
And three dancers from Berry Brow-based Adele Taylor School of Dance, were also selected to perform in an elite gala.
Lucie Horsfall, 15, won her tap section, came second in modern and danced in the young tapper of the year at the Huddersfield area finals.
Seven-year-old Hollie Carter won her song and dance section while 10-year-old Leah Darby won her modern section, came second in her national section, was placed in all three duets.
She was also awarded the Robin Winbow Junior Modern Award and given £200 to further her dancing.
Adele Taylor said: “I felt very emotional watching the girls. They have all worked so hard and for some of them it was the first time they had made it to the All England Dance Finals.
“I am very proud and was very excited to see three of them perform in the gala when only 20 out of 500 dancers were selected.”
