DENBY DALE: May 15. Raider went into farm yard and snapped padlock from storage container stealing hydraulic ram and five paintings. The paintings were later recovered at yard entrance. Offender/s used force to break padlock and search a further outbuilding but noting was stolen.
EMLEY: May 16. Front nearside window of vehicle smashed.
Skelmanthorpe: May 17. Rear nearside door window smashed to get into vehicle and steal a case.
May 17. Offside quarterlight of vehicle smashed but raider did not get in.
May 17. Driver’s door lock forced to get into vehicle and steal garden strimmer.
May 19. Tentercroft Mills, Elm Street, Skelmanthorpe. Raider got into premises by removing padlock from main gate. A van was then brought on to premises and the suspects repositioned the security cameras. They then used a heavy duty tool to remove the hasp of a lock to get inside and steal boxed furniture.
CLAYTON WEST: May 18. Land Rover Defender stolen, later found abandoned locally with ignition damaged.
KIRKBURTON: May 19. Suspect got into field and cut three strands of barbed wire then removed the post to allow them to walk through.
STOCKSMOOR: May 20. Locking wheel nuts stolen from car wheels.
