DENBY Dale Parish Council has a vacancy for a parish councillor to represent the Skelmanthorpe ward.
The parish council has agreed to fill this vacancy by co-option and is now inviting suitably qualified individuals to apply.
To hold office as a parish councillor an individual must be a British subject, a Commonwealth citizen or a Euro national and at least 18 years old.
He or she must also be on the electoral register for the parish or have owned, or rented land, worked or lived in the parish for the past 12 months.

Applications must reach the clerk by 5pm on Friday August 17.
Councillors will vote for who to co-opt on Tuesday September 4.
