Hotel staff staged an auction and raffle to raise more than £1,786 for the appeal to save Meltham Clock Tower.
Clr Terry Lyons, Mayor of Meltham, was chief guest for the event, which was held at the Durker Roods Hotel.
Prizes included an offer from a local estate agent to sell your house for free, a holiday for two, a framed photograph and an original work of art.
The hotel also served “Yorkshire tapas” created by head chef George Ungi.
English Heritage has awarded £92,000 for the restoration project – which is estimated to cost £127,000 – leaving the church and wider community to raise the remaining £35,000.
