TOWN shot stopper Matt Glennon lent his valuable hands to launch a new clubhouse at AFC Emley earlier this month.

The new facilities, funded entirely by the club, house an all new players’ lounge and bar area, ready for next season’s Northern Counties East Division One campaign under new manager, former Huddersfield Town player, Ian Banks.

And links with the Terriers continue this pre-season with Town manager Gerry Murphy’s testimonial on July 20 at Emley.

A full day of events will include junior games and a match between the current and past academy teams, hopefully including former Town and Blackburn star Jon Stead – if released by his current team Sheffield United.
