CONCERNS are now growing that Kirklees libraries are once again under threat and this time it looks like the fight to save them could be even tougher.
Kirklees councillors have warned that the harsh budget cuts looming in the next two or three years have put libraries very much in the firing line.
Groups formed last year to save their own libraries across Kirklees have now joined together to battle the threat en masse.
The challenge is now on for all sides to think of innovative ways to keep such a vital service going.
