AFTER reading last week’s question and subsequent report in this Saturday’s Examiner about the Flying Fortress crash on West Nab, I was a little dismayed with your opening paragraph saying you had problems sourcing any information on the subject.
I own a publication Dark Peak Aircraft Wrecks by Ron Collier which not only describes the ins and outs of that flight but also names the crew. The book is in at least two volumes and gives details of other aircraft wrecks in the local and not so local areas.
