MORE than 100 artists will showcase their work as the Brighouse Art Circle hosts its 64th annual exhibition at the Smith Art Gallery in the town’s library until June 9. There will be over 100 original works of art for sale.

ALL Saints Church, Elland, will show the procession and church service on a large screen to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee on Tuesday, June 5, at 9.45am. Take along a picnic for the event. A collection will take place in aid of Help for Heroes.
A COFFEE morning and bring and buy sale takes place at All Saints Church, Elland, from 10am until midday on Saturday, May 19. The same day, at 7pm, the church choir performs Carmen in aid of Overgate Hospice. The performance, which is conducted by Dr Simon Lindley, will have the advantage of spoken narrative.
