OXFAM regional fundraising manager Harriett Roberts is organising an Oxfam Evening at Holmfirth Civic Hall next Wednesday, March 2, starting at 7pm.
The evening will give the communities in the Holme Valley and further afield, the chance to hear first-hand about Oxfam’s work, and how their support is helping it to help some of the world’s most vulnerable people.
The meeting should be especially interesting because the group have as a guest Oxfam speaker Jo-Anne Witcombe, who will have only recently returned from a three-week trip to Oxfam’s projects in Liberia.
