It becomes more complicated as we go through the rest of the week with colder air trying to push down from the north after Wednesday and low pressure moving across Scotland. The result of this will be that by Thursday we are likely to see a changeover to a few showers which will become wintry at times on the hills – so a mixture of sleet and snow in places, snow on the hills and cold north west winds. Friday likely to be bright and colder, then more rain for the end the of the week and the weekend.
