Mike Wood

The 64-year-old from Crewe has been MP for Batley and Spen since 1997.

Mr Wood is a member of the Socialist Campaign Group and frequently votes against the government.

He served as a Kirklees councillor for Cleckheaton from 1980 to 1988.

Mr Wood is married with two children and two step-children.
