MAMMALS, reptiles and insects attracted interest from pupils at Grange Moor First School.
All 75 youngsters at the school got the chance to learn more about creatures – ranging from rabbits, guinea pigs and chincillas to corn snakes, millipedes and bearded dragons.
The visit by Leeds-based educational organisation Lion Learners was part of the school’s half-term topic of Animals and their Environment.
Jayne Fenton, one of the Class 1 teachers, said:
“The children enjoyed getting close to the animals and finding out about where and how they live.”
