HADE EDGE Band featured in the Yorkshire Regional Areas Contest – Championship section at St George’s Hall Bradford at the weekend.
The senior band, pictured above, has moved up into the Championship Section following their successful result at St George’s Hall, 12 months ago.
The band’s AGM will be held next Wednesday (March 16) in the new bandroom. All members and parents are welcome to attend.
On Sunday April 3 the band will be playing in the annual Holmfirth Contest at Holmfirth Civic Hall, then on Saturday May 14 band members hope to travel over the Pennines to be beside the seaside for the Blackpool Spring Festival.
On the following day they will be playing much nearer home – at Scholes Church Feast in the afternoon.
On Sunday May 21 Hade Edge Senior Band and the massed choirs of Honley and Colne Valley Male Voices will feature in an evening charity concert at Huddersfield Town Hall in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research Fund.
