WOULDNT it be wonderful to see Harry Crowther carrying the Olympic torch?

The torch is to be carried around the UK in the run-up to the London Olympics next summer and the organisers say they are looking for 8,000 inspirational people to help carry the flame.

Harry suffers from a genetic form of Atypical Progeria Syndrome which makes his body age five times faster than normal.

He is already an inspirational figure in his home town of Mirfield and across the Huddersfield area.

Last June he was one of the co-winners of the Young Personality category of the Examiner Community Awards.

Its important the Olympics forges a connection with people living outside London and having Harry carrying the torch is certainly a start.
