PEOPLE can get advice to help soften the blow of the recession.
A free event has been organised with experts from help agencies to dish out advice to people who are struggling to cope.
Partners attending the event include Warm Zone which is carrying our free home insulation, the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Employment Project.
Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing will be offering advice on rent, debt and housing and benefits advice.
It takes place next Friday, October 23, from 2pm until 6pm at the Rawthorpe Dalton Library, Information and Children’s Centre and Dalton Baptist Church, Ridgeway.
On the day there will be free hot food and refreshments and activities for children.
