SAVE the Children’s national fundraising week is taking place this weekso why not get involved and help raise vital funds for the poorest and most neglected children around the world?

Ten million children around the world die before their fifth birthday every year. That’s as many as one child per three seconds.

I recently visited Free State, South Africa, with Save the Children where one in three children don’t have enough to eat and one in five children don’t go to school.

I met children dealing with the effects of HIV, children heading their households and caring for their siblings.

I was invited to their homes and witnessed their poverty and fears. Save the Children is doing an amazing job to help improve these children’s lives but more help is needed.

Your time and energy is invaluable in helping save children’s lives so why not put the ‘fun into fundraising’ and organise an event.

You could host a tea party for your friends or make the most of the great outdoors by having a sponsored walk.

Thanks a million,
