Remembering Newsome & Hoot Creative Arts are inviting people to the first in a series of fun and friendly sessions as they work together to build a wider understanding of dementia and how people can live well with dementia in Newsome.

Residents can join in on Wednesday, November 26 from 1-3pm at Newsome South Methodist Church, Berry Brow.

Organisers would like people to bring along a photograph or an object which reminds them of a time and place in Newsome that is important to them.

It might be connected to your family, your school, your work or something else.

Residents will also have the opportunity to take part in a music workshop where no previous experience is needed, just a willingness to have a go.

This is a chance to meet old friends, make new friends, share experiences and have a good time.

Entry is free. Donations are welcome towards refreshments which will be provided.
