MANY fans were in agreement – Huddersfield Town did their best.

But they could not overcome Arsenal yesterday and crashed out of the FA Cup.

Due to a debatable penalty decision, Town came home subdued but their fans waiting for them back home said the players held their own against one of the country’s top teams.

Those who missed out on tickets gathered to watch it on the big screens in the town’s pubs and said they were confident of a replay until the controversial penalty decision went against them.

The FA Cup remains a great way for lower league clubs to get on the pitch with the world’s best players.

Yesterday, Town were the second best team – but only just.
