HUDDERSFIELD Town’s School Partnership reached a landmark when Netherhall Learning Campus became the 50th school to sign up to the scheme.

In just short of two years the club has formed closer links with local schools through the School Partnership scheme.

Club ambassador Andy Booth has figure-headed the scheme and is pictured presenting Netherhall with their plaque.

The scheme provides schools with free support sessions, sports equipment and coaching courtesy of the club’s Football in the Community department.

Involvement in open to any school who wants to become an official Huddersfield Town Partner School. The scheme has five tiers of commitment and schools can participate at any level they wish.

The aim of the partnership is to formalise all the offerings Town make to schools in one service through the club, FITC and support sessions. It will also provide schools with help in the recession through 'cashback' schemes, student rewards, player visits and free school kits.
