HUDDERSFIELD Town winger Gary Roberts swapped the pitch for a school.

He visited Carr Green Primary School to kick-off their healthy eating initiative.

Carr Green is one of Town’s School Partners and they invited Gary along to try out their new, freshly cooked school dinners.

The Rastrick school has brought its school dinners in-house and hired chefs to cook their food using fresh ingredients.

So the Town star, pictured, spent lunchtime tucking into a healthy school dinner.

The aim of Town’s school partnership is to bring the club and community closer together with Town and promote links including the ‘cashback’ schemes, student rewards, player visits and school kits provided by Huddersfield Town.
