THE Penistone Line partnership is inviting walkers to join them for a walk described as Ways & Walks Make Up This Trek!
A spokesman said: “Meadows, pastures, hills, dales and riverside walks make for a stunning day out as we traverse to Lower Halstead, Fulstone, New Mill, Hole Bottom, Hepworth, Hullock and Hurst Brow.”
The 10 mile walk, on Saturday August 20, starts at 9.40am at Stocksmoor and finishes at Shepley. The leader is Geoff Ryder.
Connecting trains leave Huddersfield at 9.13am arriving at Stocksmoor at 9.22am and from Sheffield at 8.36am and Barnsley at 9.01am arriving at Stocksmoor at 9.38am.
The trains stop at all stations along the Penistone Line.
