Overall crime reduction of 21%. Assault reduction of 19%.
Theft of vehicle reduction of 31%
Theft from vehicle reduction of 49%.
Criminal Damage reduction of 11%.
Burglary Dwelling reduction of 52%
Put simply - Kirkburton and Denby Dale is one of the safest places to live in the whole of West Yorkshire!
DENBY DALE: Dec 27. Thieves steal a metal gully cover from side of road.
EMLEY: Jan 1. Raider samashed nearside rear window of car in driveway.
KIRKBURTON: Dec 31. Thief removed two mountain bikes which had been left secured by chain at back of house.
January 1. Raider gotr into garage by forcing door and stole meat and hand/power tools.
SKELMANTHORPE: Dec 29. Red Ford Escort stolen from AV Motors. Thieves got into the yard by cutting padlock from main gate of Marsden Street dealer. Registration of the missing vehicle is M544 XWB.
