BAMFORTH films and postcards will be the focus of a Holmfirth talk next month.

Kirklees Museums collections officer Katina Bill will be giving an illustrated talk covering the history of Bamforth, its artists, and the house style of the worldfamous comic postcards.

The presentation will unveil how the company went from a studio in Holmfirth to a global business, with offices in London and New York and sales around the globe.

The Bamforth event is at Holmfirth Library on Thursday, September 8.
