LINTHWAITE: A thief stole a knife and two rings after knocking on the window of a house and walking in when the occupant answered the door. It took place on May 30 at 1am.

Slaithwaite: Thieves entered a garden by forcing secure gates and stole garden equipment from Holme Mills, West Slaithwaite Road, on May 20 at 9am.

GOLCAR: A man kicked a car, causing damage, when its driver slowed down in Golcar on May 31 at 4.15pm.

MARSDEN: A burglar ripped wooden and glass panels to gain entry to a bar and stole cash. They also attacked two fruit machines in the snooker area, but were disturbed by the burglar alarm on June 2 at 4.30am.

GOLCAR: A go-kart was stolen from a field on May 29 at midday.

MARSDEN: Scrap metal was stolen from the garden of a house on June 4 at 10.15am.

GOLCAR: A suspected teenage thief entered the Co-op on Leymoor Road and stole a case of lager at 8.30pm on May 29. Police are looking for a boy aged around 15, chunky build with fairish hair.

MILNSBRIDGE: Staff at Selbie Opticians on Market street held a man when he walked into a staff-only area. But while there he stole from a coat pocket. Incident took place on May 31 at 3.45pm.
