Staff at the Huddersfield branch of Leeds Building Society have the key to a charity campaign.
The branch at Market Street is selling Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends collectable key rings for a suggested donation of £1.50.
Cash raised will go to the Jeans for Genes campaign which supports charity Genetic Disorders UK.
One in 25 children in the UK are born with genetic disorders. Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest cause of death among children aged 14 and under.
The key rings are available until Friday, October 4, 2013. There are four separate designs to choose from – Paws the Persian Cat, Blossom the Rabbit, Tatty Puppy and Tatty Teddy.
Branch manager David Egerton said: “Leeds Building Society is a long standing supporter of Jeans for Genes and we are very pleased to be supporting the charity again this year in Huddersfield.”
Laura Pattison, marketing director at Jeans for Genes said: “The money they raise will help pay for the support and care that children with genetic disorders need”.
