VILLAGE Scouts in the valley are celebrating after winning an prestigious award.
The 27th St Mark’s Longwood Scouts and Explorer Scouts took the 2009 Top Troop Trophy.
They were judged the best troop in the Huddersfield South West District.
The trophy is awarded to the group who wins the most points over the year’s district events – including cooking, table tennis, an expedition challenge and a quiz.
