D-day link with archbishop
MELTHAM solicitor Nigel Priestley met Archbishop of Uganda, Stanley Ntagali, at the archbishop’s installation ceremony in Kampala, last month. Mr Priestley, a senior partner at Ridley and Hall solicitors, and his friend Clinton Burhouse, were reunited with the new archbishop at Namirembe Cathedral, in the Ugandan capital. Nigel and Clinton, who were invited to the ceremony, have known the archbishop since 1999. The Most Rev Ntagali was a friend of the late Meltham town councillor, John Bakanoba, who was born in Uganda.
