A WEBSITE which aims to be a ‘one stop shop’ of Holmfirth happenings has been launched.
Holmfirthevents.co.uk was launched last month by Hade Edge mum Kerry Sykes.
The not-for-profit website, designed for free by web designers GDA, of Holmfirth, features event listings together with pub, restaurant and accommodation guides.
The website, which complements the Holmfirth What’s On Calendar Facebook page, includes a guide to tourist attractions and walks as well as a gallery of Holmfirth’s iconic images and a Twitter news feed.
Mum-of-three Kerry, 39, said: “The old one was just what I put together. I’m not a web designer so it didn’t look great – but this one does.
“There’s a lot more information and there’s a lot more content.
“I’ve spent ages on it and I don’t get paid. I even went out and took most of the pictures.”
