SO a Netherton man has finally been forced to leave his council home after 95 complaints over two years.
Many readers will wonder why it took so many complaints and so long to force Mohammed Khan to leave his Netherton flat and allow his neighbours to get their lives back to normal.
The council had taken the case to Huddersfield County Court and afterwards Kirklees Clr Shabir Pandor stated: “I hope this eviction shows how seriously the council and its partners take antisocial behaviour.’’
Perhaps if they took it so seriously there would be enough in the tenancy terms and conditions to have acted far more swiftly to get rid of this unruly tenant.
Let’s hope they don’t give him another council property.
