The Sunday service was led by Kath Beetlestone assisted by Michael Tolson and his worship team. The seating arrangement in the church was different from usual but comfortable for most people, some being arrange traditionally in rows and others around tables. To begin with we were asked to look into mirrors and to share with each other what we saw. It was then explained that it is not what is happening on the outside that matters but what is happening in the heart of a person that makes the difference. The basis of the service was about tradition and we watched the song ‘Tradition’ from Fiddler on the Roof. Music was played by Helen Johnson and Carol Hamer.

Holmfirth Christian Centre's Sunday services had the theme Focus on Jesus, and the praise time was led by Paul Jackson supported by Ryan Gibson on the keyboard. Jesus is there all the time and we need to keep our eyes fixed on Him and He will make ways we cannot see and He can give answers where there were no answers, he said. Then followed a time of worship, when Diane Finch read from 1 Corinthians 11:23-29. Communion was taken with the band playing I’ll Remember You. Kathryn Jackson led the young youth and children's group, who focused on Jesus and the wonderful works that He did.
