AN Olympic exhibition of pottery has been installed in Holmfirth’s Tourist Information centre.
It is made by the students of the Adult Education Centre in Holmfirth, some of whom are beginners and have only been working with clay for a few months.
The installation, part of Adult Learners Week, will remain in the window of the centre until Tuesday June 3.
Adult education classes will be taking a break for the summer soon but the prospectus for the new term in September will be available from early July.
But the advice to propective students is – “If you fancy having a go, book early!”
