The eight mile walk starts at Chapeltown and finishes at Meadowhall. The leader is John Harker.

On Saturday, February 4, walkers will be able to see A Different Side of Sheffield. Heading out of town on the Upper Don Walk, via Kelham Island conservation area and Neepsend, the route climbs up on to Parkwood Springs with some stunning views over the city centre and beyond.

Walkers will also explore Wardsend cemetery and hear some of the area’s history.

The return is by bus or tram.

The seven mile walk starts at Sheffield Midland station’s supertram stop and finishes at Hillsborough. The leader is John Harker.

Walkers can depart from Huddersfield railway station at 9.13am arriving in Sheffield at 10.30am.
