SUPERMARKET giant Tesco has dished out cash to a brace of primary schools.

Springvale and St John’s Primary School have both received £250 donations from the superstore following its launch in Penistone.

Springvale Primary School will use their donation towards updating and replacing musical instruments.

Headteacher, Hillary Smith said: “I would like to thank Tesco for their kind donation. It is greatly appreciated and will continue to help us provide our students with key learning experiences.”

St John’s Primary school will use their donation towards a Harvest Super Learning Day as part of celebrating World Food Day.
