A plaque has been placed on the Millennium Stone at Shelley Village Green to celebrate community stalwart Nancy Ryden.
Nancy’s efforts were critical to securing a Village Green for Shelley in 1995.
A small ceremony to mark the new plaque’s installation was attended by villagers, family and friends.
Ann Priestman from Shelley Community Association spoke about Nancy’s enthusiasm for the Shelley community and Rev Joyce Jones said a prayer.
