A POPULAR Italian restaurant has been targeted by thieves.
Thieves broke into La Dolce Vita, Wakefield Road, Scissett, on Friday night and made off with thousands of pounds worth of equipment.
Items stolen include a pink Sony Vaio laptop, a black iPod Touch, a set of Global chef’s knives, a Robot Coupe 201 food processor and a white Sony overhead projector.
Police believe that the thieves must have used a vehicle, due to the large amount of property stolen.
The theft happened between 10.30pm on Friday August 30 and 12.30pm on Saturday August 31.
