BARGAIN hunters are being invited to a charity auction to raise cash for a vital community hall.
The Flying Ferret pub at Shelley will host the event in aid of Shelley Village Hall. Local companies have promised to donate items including massages, Christmas hampers, a box of chocolates signed by David Cameron, Knightsbridge lanterns, a children’s professional photoshoot, restaurant vouchers and even four hours’ free book-keeping!
Local residents have also vowed to pitch in items including a vacuum cleaner, camping equipment, bric-a-brac, and even ladies’ size six-and-a-half shoes!
The auction is on Saturday, November 10 from 8pm. Bids can be accepted before the night. Call Chris at the Flying Ferret on 01484 769974.
